Chores ᐧ 03 The Drink
The moon, her reflection swimming in the tos-and-fros of the lake, sees her form in the shape of a seed offered up to her gaze by the evening’s breeze. For a moment it is also like her, weightless in the night air, suspended, aglow. The moon above, the lake below, and the seed - round, just like her - floating in between. Their journeys move in parallel, for a moment, before continuing on.

Chores is a collection of eighteen hand-embroidered vintage chore coats, celebrating the beauty of earnest labor. Because each piece is a vintage garment transformed through hand-embroidery, each piece is unique.
The Drink enshrines those evenings - sitting next to the lake, pondering the moon above - as old and eternal as humanity itself. Through a harmony of delicate stitching, two freshly-replaced buttons, and a singular baroque pearl, our most poetic imaginings of the world around us are expressed in the moon’s own pale blue and silvery white tones - imaginings that sweep up and across the lower body of the front, and leave whispering traces on sleeve, back, and shoulder.
03 The Drink measures:
Cross Chest | 24.25" (48.5" Bust) |
Body Length | 26.25" |
Sleeve Length | 22.5" |
The fabric is a midweight cotton twill with black stitching, stable and hard-wearing. It is in great condition, with no noticeable wear and tear except for the 4th and 5th buttons, which have been replaced.
Please hand wash cold with mild detergent, and line dry. Warm iron on reverse with a little steam.
