Chores ᐧ 01 The Wanderer
Where does the breeze begin, and where does it end? Does it lose strength or gather it? As it picks up dried and crumbling leaves alongside fresh green seeds awaiting delivery to their destinations, gives lift to the glossy wings of the summer cicadas, and breaks against the weathered bark of the old Joshua trees.

Chores is a collection of eighteen hand-embroidered vintage chore coats, celebrating the beauty of earnest labor. Because each piece is a vintage garment transformed through hand-embroidery, each piece is unique.
Scattered with stitches across body and sleeve, front and back, The Wanderer’s beautifully fragmented design speaks to the quiet wonder of moving through the world without expectation but with great intention. The coat features a cool color palette of purples and blues with moments of pale green, beaded accents across the patches of embroidery, and a baroque pearl at the single heart-side breast pocket.
