Chores ᐧ 34 who am I?
34 who am I?
I know your every face under your every mask
yet will never run out of things to ask

34 who am I? carries with her a gentle sheen that gives away an eagerness — or perhaps yearning — for more, in her relatively new and unworn state. With a simple lining of a single fabric that feels vast in the steadiness of its crosshatched pattern, she wears all of her embroidery on her front, leaving the back of the coat crisp and clean. This duality extends to the embroidered name inside, which sits low against the wearer’s left hip — and upside down, marking it as a question for the wearer alone. The embroidery on the front shell meanwhile paints a series of explorations — some furtively peeking into pockets or collars — that in turn host its Nicki Cherry charm front and center, in an act of quiet bravery.
MaterialsVintage chore coat (cotton or cotton blend), patchwork lining constructed from antique indigo-dyed cotton fabric scraps, cotton embroidery floss, blister pearl and silver charm, glass beads
50” bust, 30” length (high point shoulder to hem)
Blake (model) is 6'4" tall
For coats — remove charm using silver clasp, then dry clean or hand wash cold with mild detergent and line dry, warm iron on reverse with a little steam. Interior button serves as extra support for the silver clasp, which can be reinforced or removed as needed. For charms — gently clean with mild soap, warm water, and a soft cloth. Avoid wetting charms for extended periods of time. If using silver polish, avoid pearl.
